Creative Bath is delighted to announce our next Keynote speaker: Ryan Carson.

Ryan has a stellar track record of developing new ideas and new companies – and new ways of working. Anyone interested in the development of the web and web businesses will be interested in him.

He launched inspirational tech events business Carsonified (www.carsonified.com “Creativity with integrity”) from Bath, and grew it into an international success. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s first-ever European speech was at a Carsonfied event. The business went from tech workshops to huge international conferences in a matter of years.

Ryan sold Carsonified last summer to concentrate on his new business: Treehouse (www.teamtreehouse.com) – an incredible resource for web developers and designers. Having gained $600k in seed funding in October, Ryan raised $4.75m in April to fund the growth. Treehouse is an online technology school that teaches coding, website and app development and empowers entrepreneurs to start-up their own businesses.

It started with seven people less than a year ago – and is well on target to hitting a team of 60.

Remarkably, it’s based on the web’s holy grail: paid-for content...
