Overview

 

Online Marketing Executive – role due to expansion!

Key tasks

Paid Search:

  • Create, manage and optimise Paid Search campaigns utilising relevant tools such as Google Adwords, Microsoft Ad centre, Google Analytics and Coremetrics Analytics.
  • Assist in the transition of Paid Search accounts from external agency to in-house management.
  • Create, maintain and optimise Paid Search campaigns, in consultation with the Online Acquisition Manager.
  • Take responsibility for the ongoing maintenance and optimisation of Paid Search campaigns.
  • Keep up to date with and ensure best practice and current Paid Search techniques are followed.
  • Provide recommendations for the improvement of Paid Search campaigns.
  • Regularly review and take appropriate action on competitor activity.
  • Work with the E-commerce Analyst to provide reporting and analysis of Paid Search campaigns.

 

Online Marketing:

  • Work with the Online Acquisition Manager and external suppliers on the implementation and management of SEO strategy.
  • Maintain rigorous and detailed reporting on organic traffic and rankings.
  • Work with the Online Acquisition Manager on keyword research and on-page optimisation.
  • Support in the creation of strategies and plans for online marketing.
  • Assist in the creation of processes and procedures for the effective management of online marketing activities.
  • Assist in the sourcing of any supporting content, design work or web functionality that is required to support online marketing activities.
  • Utilise online analytics tools including Coremetrics to report on and analyse key metrics and business KPIs related to online acquisition.

Experience & skills required:

 

Essential:

  • Previous experience of managing profitable Paid Search campaigns either in a client-side or agency role.
  • Thorough understanding of online marketing techniques and the principles of E-commerce.
  • Experience with Online Analytics tools and the principles and measurement of KPIs.
  • An understanding of SEO techniques and processes
  • The ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience of using Microsoft ad centre.
  • An understanding of the fundamentals of HTML
  • Experience of Coremetrics analytics.
