Overview

The new term for the highly successful Natural Youth Theatre starts this week. Although most of the 50 regular participants have signed up again, there are still some places available. The groups meet in the beautiful new studio at Natural Theatre's HQ at Widcombe Institute which is has full wheelchair access if required.

The groups meet on Wednesday evenings and work with professional actors from the Natural Theatre Company.

Young people can gain confidence, learn about leadership and teamwork, how to create the comic characters made famous worldwide by the Natural Theatre, and also create comic characters of their own. The workshops and rehearsals are non-threatening and highly enjoyable. No previous experience required!

There is a vast store of costumes and props available and each term leads up to a live outdoor performance, this time as part of Bath Comedy Festival.

Group 1 - Age 11-14 6.00-7.30pm

Group 2 - Age 15-18 8.00pm-9.30pm

Next term starts on Jan 11th and runs through to March 28th with 2 weeks off for half term (Feb 15th & 22nd)

There are places available in both groups if you know anyone who would like to join.

The Natural Youth Theatre will be performing on the opening weekend of The Bath Comedy Festival on Sunday 1st April (April Fools Day!)
