Annual fortnight festival of all the arts in May/June, which has run since 1982 and since 1992 with the current CoOperative. We run in tandem with Fringe Arts Bath, which deals more with visual arts, and we with performing, but the borders are fuzzy and porous. Almost every event is self-supporting and there is a small charge to be part of the festival, and this usually connects best with emerging, grassroots or ‘cult’ performers, but anything that Bath area artists or venues propose and is practicable is eligible. Bath Fringe 2024
Bath Fringe is a registered not-for-profit CoOperative and a Limited Company; as well as Fringe Arts Bath [FaB] we are strongly connected with a Registered Charity, Streats Ltd., with particular interest in arts in outdoor and unaccustomed spaces. Our Office, staffed part-time and most consistently for the 6 months preceding the Festival, is behind The Bell pub on Walcot Street.
