Reverie is a Bath-based interior design studio creating atmosphere-led residential interiors and boutique hospitality spaces. The work begins with how a space should feel - calm, restorative, intimate, transporting - rather than with layout or palette. Through sensory layering of light, scent, texture, symmetry, and proportion, Reverie produces interiors that quietly shift a person's mood on arrival. Every project is approached as a piece of emotional architecture: a setting designed to support the life lived inside it.
Founder and creative director of Reverie, Kate Kitchen designs interiors built on the conviction that great spaces are felt before they are seen - that atmosphere, not aesthetics alone, defines a room. She works across residential projects and boutique hospitality, drawing on sensory layering and emotional architecture to create interiors that evoke feeling through light, sound, scent, materiality, symmetry, and proportion. She is currently writing a book on the art of atmosphere, exploring how spaces shape the way we feel.
