Val Mote

Having spent fourteen years working as a stage manager in the US, UK and even China, I changed direction back in 2013 to focus on my writing. I then gained an MA in Writing for Young People at Bath Spa University (with distinction) in 2014, and was co-editor for our anthology at the time. Since then, in addition to novel writing, I've also worked as a freelance administrator, copy-editor and writer for a range of companies in the holistic, charity, tourism and arts sectors. Thanks to my experience in theatre, I'm an extremely detailed, flexible manager with the ability to think outside the box when it comes to problem solving and strong drive to work in a team, lead a team or independently.
