The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for defining and communicating the value proposition of the products and services we bring to market. This role sits in the Product Marketing function and has a direct impact on the success of our sales team by making sure they are trained and equipped to sell our services. About the role

We want to hear from sales and marketing professionals with entrepreneurial flair. This role will suit a confident individual who can take a product’s features and benefits and unpack the value to the customer.

You will be working with the Product Marketing team to understand our go-to-market strategy, and turn our products into compelling value propositions that can be taken to customers. You will act as the bridge between product development and the sales team to help demonstrate the value of our products – and make sure the sales team are able to communicate the value to customers. You’ll have a close eye on the market and act as the voice of the customer.

This role will suit someone who is a confident self-starter looking for a role that can make a real impact on our commercial success. You will be able to gather information, understand it quickly and articulate it in a clear and logical way that demonstrates benefits and value to our customers.

What you’ll be doing

  • Training and coaching the sales team
  • Developing compelling value propositions suitable for key industries
  • Crafting product positioning and messaging that is benefit and value-led
  • Researching the market to monitor and articulate our competitive advantage
  • Acting as the voice of the customer
  • Working with technical leads on product development

About you

  • Product marketing and/or sales experience
  • Familiar with sales training and coaching, either through delivering or receiving
  • Confident communicator, relationship builder and proactive problem solver
  • Strong influencing and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial and interested in technology
  • Full of initiative
  • Well organised and planful

Bonus to have

  • Direct sales experience would be valuable
  • Experience in a technical industry
  • Technical knowledge of Microsoft cloud
