An opportunity for an Artworker/Designer with solid print knowledge, technical and ogranisational skills and a problem-solving attitude to take a step up and work with inspiring art, brands and products.
Museums & Galleries Ltd publishes publish licensed greetings cards, stationery and gifts with an ever-expanding range of products. We're a small but industrious design team in Frome, Somerset; an in-house studio servicing all parts of the business from product development to print and digital promotion, but also work on external briefs from retailers.
Please note this is not a creative 'greetings card designer' role; But if you've got the skills and like varied, hands-on artwork/design challenges and working as part of a team, join us on our journey!

We work with high-profile cultural arts brands and institutions, well-known licensed brands and individual artists, with products sold in independent and national stores in the UK and exported worldwide.
The Frome Studio operates as a satellite office; the business is family owned with Headquarters in Corby, Northants. This role is based in Frome.
The Frome Studio services all the creative needs of the business from designing and artworking all products (including bespoke projects for retailers) to promotion in print and online (website, catalogues, exhibition stands etc). The M&G Studio produces:

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will bring enthusiasm, organisation, self-motivation and the ability to work effectively, with supervision and support, whilst adding value to our studio. Ability to communicate, learn and collaborate are key as we're a small and very productive team with a hands-on approach. Greetings card or licensing industry experience is preferred, but not essential if you can demonstrate transferable experience and the right attitude. Experience or interest in art or photography would be a bonus.
