MediaClash is a Bath-based magazine publisher, event organiser and creative agency.
This is a high profile, attractive role for a sales professional working across MediaClash brands including Bath Life, Bristol Life, Cardiff Life, Exeter Living; Life Awards; Property Awards, its further events and brand extensions.
This will involve the following responsibilities:

Contribute to meeting revenue targets

Generating new business
-
Managing and growing revenue from existing clients

Attending weekly sales meetings
-
Represent MediaClash in a professional and ethical manner to ensure long term relationships that benefit both the company and our clients

Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via calls, emails and meetings
-
Adhering to any key performance indicators (KPIs) as agreed with your line manager. These may include number of outbound calls, time on the phone, client meetings etc

Cold calling and arranging meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business

In all cases, to present our titles to clients with passion, dedication and honesty

Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries; listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately

Gathering market and customer information
-
Representing MediaClash at key events (some evening)

Negotiating on price with clients within your agreed negotiation boundaries as agreed with your line manager and company yield strategy

Handling objections
-
Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
-
Creating well written, concise and compelling proposal documents where applicable
-
Accurately recording sales, order information and notes on FileMaker for all client conversations and bookings
-
Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed target

Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirement

Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues
