And we take pride in the close relationships we develop with our clients. ## The Role As the Marketing Manager at Mud, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing and delivering our agency's marketing strategy, to help us increase our profile, get our work in front of the right people and widen our pipeline of opportunities. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will be responsible for implementing and delivering a content and communications plan. You will be effectively sharing our agency story, showcasing our creative and technical expertise. You will manage and deliver a range of marketing initiatives such as Content Creation, Blog Curation, Website Content & Development, Email Campaigns, Paid Media Campaigns, Social Media, and Events. You will support the team with the creation of branded content such as video and engaging social media content. You will ensure excellence in the execution and delivery of all of our agency and brand marketing activity and communications. This is initially a part time role - up to 2 days a week. (We’re flexible on what those days are). We’d like someone within touching distance of Bath – you won’t need to work in the office every day, but it would be good to be able to get in from time to time. ## KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: – Lead the curation of thought leadership content from our expert team, creating and managing content across multiple audience touch points including website, social media channels, and email newsletters. – Manage our social media calendars, including content planning, content creation, and monitoring/reporting of results & impact. – Build and nurture client and prospect relationships through value-added email marketing campaigns. – Manage content on the Mud website and work closely with our team to support SEO, Paid Media campaigns and website data analysis, reporting monthly on website analytics, activity and performance. – Sending out press releases to highlight key project launches and initiatives – Support the MD and wider agency team with the creation of content and assets for new business pitches and project proposals. ## WHO ARE YOU? – You will have 5+ years of experience in a similar marketing role. Your experience could be across both agency and client-side environments. B2B/Agency marketing experience would be advantageous, but not essential. – Proficient in using marketing tools such as Campaign Monitor/MailChimp, CMS systems, Google Analytics, and content creation tools. If you don’t have experience across these platforms, please don’t be put off in applying as we are seeking someone with the ability to learn, who will make things happen at Mud. – Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus a real love of copywriting as you’ll be regularly editing blogs, writing social media content, press releases and website content. – You will have the ability to connect and influence different types of personalities – a key part of this role is getting our team closely involved in helping to share our knowledge and expertise. – A positive, can-do, curious and problem-solving attitude, with a desire to deliver excellence for the team. – Highly organised and able to meet deadlines. You are able to work well under pressure and carefully manage your own time. – Ability to work collaboratively with our team in order to curate best in class agency content.
